Sorry Pearl Street! I've tried my darn'dest to make this work, but I just can't trust that I'll get my clothes back reliably enough. Bring in more staff and have reliable hours in the evening, and I'll come back.
I ran into problem with one of their machines.I was charged twice for a single service.When I wanted to report the issue. There was no staff to help.Also there is usually a wait time. I think Cambridge area can have a better laundromat services than this.
I've been going to Pearl Street to use their Wash and Fold service for the past two years.
New management has made it less accessable. They made some upgrades and that is good.
Hours are constantly changing with no apparent logic. I cannot rely on this place anymore. Please, somebody else, open a competing laundry place across the street. We in this neighborhood need a reliable place, not a joke of a business!
Ended up going to a competitor (see my other reviews). Probably won't go back.
Ownership has changed and fired most of the employees. Hours are constantly changing and I never know when I can pick up my laundry. Even when I call or text, nobody responds. I have worked closely with the staff member who is left to try and come up with good pick up times, but she is also not especially reliable.
Christmas Eve hours were technically true, but only just. Got there at 10 AM, and the door was open, but there was no staff around to help. Would've been nice, since their detergent vending machine didn't accept my money.
