Even though it is a fast food restaurant,food is kind of nice depending on what you order. It is more expensive than MC Donal but the quality is better too. The cheese and bacon french fries are amazing although far from healthy hehe. Restrooms available for clients. From the second floor you can have a nice view of Harvard Square. Good for going with friends and kids
Very little options for chicken and vegetarian. But nice food. Found a hair in my my crimson red velvet dessert thingy. Told staff about it but no one so much as apologized for it. They gave me a condescending look and threw the desert in the trash. Then gave me a new desert with trace amounts of red velvet cupcake in it. It was mostly just vanilla custard. Not really happy with this sort of service. Not a great first impression.
As known as it is, shake shack is better than most regular burger joints but still nothing too special in my honest opinion. Their milkshakes are also more on the liquid side than thick. Overall an ok establishment but it is rather pricey. There is a lot of seating here and staff is very friendly. They will give you a buzzer once you order food for pick up.
At least the fries are [almost always] good. One time I got some that were so hard, I couldn't chew them. This place frankly doesn't deserve the rep it has.
I had a shroom burger.. I have to say it was really good even though I was expecting meat... I thought it wad a burger with mushrooms, not a mushroom burger.. But it was a very pleasant surprise! I also ordered a draft beer that I was going to share, and since they were out, they gave me 2 of another kind... Very nice detail :)
It's almost impressive how little the employees here care. A friend of mine and I come here after work for fries pretty often as they are nice and crispy, but have never been impressed with the service. Both of us work in retail so we are understanding. She had to wait over 5 minutes for fries and a coke the past time we came, and we could even see the soda and fries just sitting there waiting to be put on the counter; we had to ask an employee.
Also they don't take care of the bathroom well. That same night, one stall was out of toilet paper, the paper towels were out so someone just put a roll of toilet paper on top, and the trash was overflowing.
