Called in to make an order and the person who answered the phone told me to order online. When you order online, it is a much longer process and have to enter credit card info. Bad service.
No Lobster...?? Signs everywhere. Outside.... Inside, on Every wall... "Sorry we are all out" And the flow of order and check out? Ridiculous. Backwards. People have to bump into each other to do either....
Absolutely the WORST Au Bo Pain I've EVER been too. That place is NEVER clean..!!! And what Au Bon Pain NEVER has Baguettes?!! I only get pastries WHEN I see that they are coming fresh out the oven. Otherwise, chips and a drink it is! PLEASE take a look at the handling of sandwich making. Trust, you wont want to go back!!! Freakin GROSS!! They should have ripped that place down instead of Cozi's!!
I like it. It's probably my favorite place for a quick lunch in Tech square/ Kendall Square. Soups are good. I don't have the patience to wait for fresh sandwiches, because the population density is too high for how they are staffed. Anything "serve yourself" is fine, but the waits at rush hours are awful.
Best bakery items I ever had, the coffee is really good for something that was kept in a kettle. And the coffee is better than Starbucks.
