Great selection and average prices for second hand books in Boston. I’ve found both fiction and non-fiction that I really wanted there. The place is well organised and the books of all high quality. It seems like the kind of place that will reject a lot of mid quality stuff other second hand Bookshops would take.
This is my favorite bookstore compared to all the bookstores I've visited in Toronto, Montreal, New York and DC. It's a small bookstore, but it has a really good selection of books. They have an excellent filter on what books they offer.
A good little book that's a little bit hidden. The woman working there was very friendly, but I didn't like that all of the fiction (Sci-fi, mystery, etc) was all combined into one area, which was pretty small. Not a huge selection of things to choose from but still a cool little spot.
This was one of my favorite used bookstores in college. I remember being heartbroken when it closed down. It was wonderful to return and see it reopened in a new location. They get 5 stars for not just a wide assortment of cheap books, but also for having an exceptional poetry collection.
Great literary bookstore full of "finds." Just bought a first edition book by my favorite poet for $9. Stock changes frequently so you can visit often. Friendly staff. Well-lit, low-key atmosphere.
