Denise Simmons is terrific!
After reading Mayor Simmons's comments in regards to Cambridge Police Sgt. Crowley's arrest of Mr. Gates, I find myself shaking my head in disgust AGAIN. Mayor Simmons seems to feel that since the suspect in the case is black and the arresting Sgt. is white, that some racial bias must be involved. This type of thinking has been shown to be bigoted and will again show the prejudices of Mayor Simmons. She needs to apologize to Sgt.Crowley personally and to all of the dedicated police personnel of the Cambridge Police Department. These remarks to the press were so offensive that the Mayor should resign since she has made it clear that she has risen to a position that she is not capable of executing effectively.
