A small but excellent encyclopedic art museum. Lots of famous paintings are located in it!
Has clean and energetic atmosphere great for a date or go alone for a self care date. :) As someone who knows next to nothing about art I was learning new things left and right. The employees were kind and helpful with all my questions on the pieces. If you have a waterbottle or bag they'll ask you to put it in a locker, no extra charge, just dont loose the key!
The building is gorgeous and the collection is is outstanding. However, the guards were very rude to me and my children. I've been to museums all over the world, and this is the first time I've ever felt unwanted or talked down to.
Great place ... worth the visit ...worth the price ... if you show up late towards closing time ask for a 2nd day pass
Would've given 5 stars had it not been for the security guards. We were told (almost yelled, actually) we were to close to a map, even though it was protected by the glass.
My children are very well behaved, and if they ever do act up, we leave. They were sitting on a bench calmly admiring a display and a staff member ran up and intervened because he didn't want them to fall and get hurt. Someone else had just told my wife she needed to get a picture because they were being so cute sitting next to each other. Similar incidents happened a few more times before we decided to simply leave.
Surprisingly good collection and the rooms seemed to keep appearing, which was great.
