I've used Ambassador/Brattle cab consistently and am impressed by the continuing excellent service. One of the drivers, however, aggressively pushed his Christian belies on me and made me very uncomfortable. Most drivers keep their beliefs to themselves, thankfully.
Anyways, we had to change companies because the drivers REFUSED to accept the Brattle Voucher and our clients ended up paying cash!
TREAT YOUR EMPLOYEES RIGHT and THEY WILL TREAT YOUR CUSTOMERS RIGHT!
Why do they refuse?
I order transportation for my co-workers. When I used the cab myself the driver was angry that "I" wanted to fill in the amount of the ride myself. I asked for a pen and he said he didn't have one. (SO HOW DOES HE REMEMBER THE COSTS OF ALL THE VOUCHERS HE RECEIVED and fill them out with the proper amounts?)
The driver was extremely rude! I will never use Ambassador Brattle Cab again and I will make sure that my friends and family don't either. If I could, I would give them 0 stars. Terrible service.
HOW DO YOU NOT PAY YOUR DRIVERS WHEN THEY ARE THE ONES MAKING MONEY FOR YOU TO STAY IN BUSINESS?
Now you understand why the drivers are so RUDE.
Would give a zero star if I can. The trip fair was 7.8 Dollars but I was informed only at destination that the company takes credit card with amount over 10 dollars. The driver screamed at me to pay for 10 dollars using my credit card, which is >20% tip. Since I do not have any cash with me, I agreed to charge my card for 10 dollars, only to find out the driver charged 110 dollars. Fortunately I was able to recover the charge by calling the credit card company. Will warn anyone who is going to take taxi with this specific company.
Because according to the drivers "BRATTLE" DO NOT PAY THEIR DRIVERS ALL THE MONEY THEY GET ON THE VOUCHER if they receive anything at all.
I am not really sure if I should write this, since technically I was not one of their customs. The story is that I need a ride to a train station on Sunday morning before 6, if I missed the train, I will miss the next transportation and miss another one and so on, so my vacation will be ruined. Two days before that, I booked on their website, then they called me to confirm. I know it is a short distance ride and the time is too early, so I called them again to confirm on Sat. Then on Sunday morning, guess what? Correct! Nobody came! Called them and they said no driver is available. That is it! Why didn't they call me before this? That's why I was not their custom and may not be one in the future.
